I killed this black bear while hunting 1 1/2 hours north of Slave Lake in Alberta, Canada. This big boy rolled in with about 15 minutes of light left-after hitting the bait twice without a good shot-3rd time was a charm as he came in and offered the perfect 17 yard broadside shot. Watching my arrow's-tipped with 100 gr Rocket Steelhead XL with a lighted nock bury right behind the shoulder-this big boy was dead on his feet as he started stumbling and crashing immediately. From the shot to when he started moaning was 5 seconds and completely expired with in 10. I have been shooting Steelheads my entire bow hunting career-I never thought they could be improved but with the new XL Ti-N, you did just that - congratulations!
if your going to hunt p & y caliber blackie's on the ground w/no ground blind-you better know that your broadhead will perform flawlessly-needless to say the XL did just that.
